Candied Pecans
 
This makes enough for about 4 salads.
Ingredients
  • ¼ sugar
  • ¼ pecans, whole of slivered
Instructions
  1. Heat a small non-stick pan over medium high heat. Add the sugar and constantly stir using a wooden spoon until the sugar has melted being careful not to let it burn. You will notice it start to caramelize.
  2. Stir in the nuts to coat evenly.
  3. Turn out onto a sheet of parchment paper and allow to cool.
