The Manhattan
- 18 ounces rye whiskey
- 9 ounces sweet vermouth
- 18 dashes Angostura bitters
- 5 ounces water
- Combine all ingredients, mix well, and bottle into individual bottles. Serve ice cold with a maraschino cherry.
